This is a really fun but challenging game for older players, and relies on strong juggling skills.
Set up a "tennis court" of about 10 x 20 yards, with discs along the "midline". There are two players on each side (set up multiple courts to accommodate your entire team).
Similar to real tennis, the game starts with one side "serving" the ball over to the other side with a soft punt. The other team will try and return it. The conditions that apply, however, include:
• The ball must stay in bounds.
• The ball is allowed to bounce only one time on each side before it is played back (if needed).
• Players may use an unlimited number of touches as they contain, control, and return the ball, as long as it does not touch the ground more than once.
• No low kicks across the net. Pretend there's a real three-foot net there which the ball has to go over.
If any of these conditions are broken, a point is awarded to the other team. Play to a specified point total.
Encourage your players to use all parts of their body (except their hands) as they play the ball back and forth.
